Origin

Raisins come from all over the world. In Europe it is mainly Greece that exports raisins. Outside Europe, Turkey, Chile, Argentina, South Africa and America are major players in the world market. Depending on the origin, raisins are often harvested in the months of March and April as well as in the months of August and September.

Application

Raisins are most likely the best-known tropical fruit. They are widely used in all types of industries.
