Coconut palms grow in all tropical regions spread out of the earth. For the largest export countries we have to go to Asia. Sri Lanka, the Philippines and Thailand are the world’s largest coconut exporters. Coconut palms bear fruit several times a year. This is in contrast to other nuts and fruit types. A ripe coconut is colored green and when you open it, the well-known coconut appears.
When the fruit is opened a kind of milk appears, the so-called coconut milk. By the way, it looks more like water. Both coconut milk and coconut pulp are used in all kinds of industries. Nowadays, the cosmetic industry is a major consumer of coconut products for processing into their products and a lot of it goes to the bakeries to be processed in bread and cakes.
